Abstract
Comparation (Muqabala) as Art Embellishing the Speech A Few Notes on Its Definition and Classification
Comparation (Muqabala) is defined as after using two
or more phrases without opposite to each other in the
sentences, it is to bring their response (their opposite.
Comparation (Muqabala) is one of the rhetorical arts that
is not emphasized. It is one of the rhetoric arts that is
glossed over with a paragraph and a few examples in the
relevant sources. Although it is an independent rhetorical
art, it is not discussed under headline in dictionaries and
the related books.
In this study, after the definition of the muqabala is
given, its classification, the situation related to the tezât,
discussions about the names proposed to him will be
discussed and suggestions will be made on the subject.
For a better understanding more clearly of what the
comparation is, examples from the important poets of
Turkish literature will be given and the subject will be tried
to be revealed from all aspects.
