Abstract
An Essay on Clothing Finery in Divan Poetry
All the elements of material culture surrounding
humankind have been used in Divan Poetry. One of these
elements is clothes. In this poem, clothes are examined by
comparison, metaphor, and trope. Meanwhile, their colors,
textures, shapes and some other peculiarities are also
