Abstract
There have been many studies, in the form of articles, papers, theses and books, about the women poets who grew up in the Ottoman Period. While some of these studies are for a single poet, in some of them our female poets are introduced collectively and examples of their works are given. However, it is understood that there are many poets who have not yet been revealed or have not entered the literature on this subject, both in manuscripts and in books and magazines with Arabic letters.
In this study, women poets will be introduced with reference to various manuscripts, especially poetry collections and conks, regardless of the field of literature they belong to (divan, dervish lodge, folk, etc.) or the meter (prosody, syllable) they use. There is no information in the sources about most of these poets who lived in the Ottoman Period and the Ottoman geography. It has been tried to make some inferences and evaluations based on their poems about their biographies and literary personalities. Contrary to the others, although the biography of the three poets has been reached, no poetry sample has been seen.
The number of these women poets who lived between the 16th and 20th centuries is 12. Apart from these, we came across many poets who did not enter the literature in some periodicals published before the Alphabet Revolution, especially in women's magazines with Arabic letters. They are not included in this article, as the determination of all of them is a research topic that is different and exceeds the size of the article.
