Abstract
Abdulbari Adem Chelebi And His Suverü’l-Kuran İn The Name Of “Mu’inü’l-Hıfz”
Suverü’l-Kuran is a poetic type which is written in
order that the names of section of The Koran are easily
learnt in the classical Turkish poetry. The sections of
Koran and some of their properties are mentioned in the
works which are written in such a type, as the various
meaning relevancies are considered in the couplets.
The number of works which are written in such a type
that Latifi who was one of the poets in 16th century wrote
the first sanple is very limited. It is known that
Şeyhülislam Yahyâ, Dâ’î, Senâyî, Seyyid Muhammed and
Şâkir Ahmet Paşa have the suverü’l-Kuran in the studies
which have been made up to now. The unknown works
which were written in such a type have come to light in
time as in many types as a result of the review and
researhes which were made. As a result of the work review
that we made, an unknown suverü’l-Kuran text belonging
to Abdulbari Adem Chelebi who was one of the poets in
18th century was determined.
In this study, the translated text of work was included
from the point of establishable single copy, as the form and
content properties of Suverü’l-Kuran in the name of
Mu’inü’l-Hıfz belonging to Abdulbari Adem Chelebi, who
was one of the poets in 18th century, that its existence was
not known previously and consists of 86 couplets were
considered.
